Join the Right to Housing Committee every Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM at our Shaw Office! Come together with other ONE DC members to discuss our tenant rights, and build power to fight displacement and gain community control of land and housing for low-wage, long-standing Washingtonians.
WHAT WE DO
Our committee is divided into three teams:
Join our Political Action team to organize campaigns and direct actions that challenge city officials and developers to push forward our right to dignified housing.
Join our Neighborhood Defense team to identify and fight for community-centered housing alternatives for working class Washingtonians.
And if you want to build the skills to get friends, family, and strangers to join the movement for fair and affordable housing, the Outreach team is waiting for you!
