If you live in public or subsidized housing, this training could protect you and your neighbors.
What happens when police or federal officers show up in your building?
Do you know what your rights are — in your hallway, on your doorstep, or inside your home?
This Know Your Rights Training isn’t optional — it’s essential for public and federally subsidized housing residents, and for those who stand beside them: organizers, advocates, and family members supporting these communities.

Join us Tuesday, October 21 from 6:30–8PM (virtual) for a powerful session led by the Washington Lawyers’ Committee, with Spanish interpretation provided by Ayuda. Together, we’ll cover:
-
Your rights and protections inside your home and throughout your building
-
What to do when encountering police or federal officers
-
How to document and report violations safely and effectively
This space is about building safety through knowledge and solidarity — because when one tenant knows their rights, the whole community gains power.

All are welcome — especially residents of public or federally subsidized housing, and those who support them in the fight for safety and dignity at home.
