HFA DC Resident Leader Circle Meeting : Freedom Takes Practice

As we celebrate Juneteenth and honor the ongoing struggle for freedom, liberation, and self-determination, join Homes For All DC for our next Resident Leader Circle Meeting.

This month, we continue our Building the Bigger WE conversation by exploring the art of organizing and how relationships, leadership, and collective action help us build power in our communities.

Together, we'll strengthen our organizing skills through discussion, reflection, role plays, and hands-on practice. We'll explore how people move from concern to action, how leadership develops, and how we build stronger support for housing justice across our neighborhoods.

Participants can expect:

• Interactive organizing tools and activities
• Small-group breakout discussions
• Role plays and organizing conversation practice
• Reflection, journaling, and peer learning
• Opportunities to connect with resident leaders from across DC
• Strategies for building stronger relationships and growing participation

Freedom is not something we experience alone. It is something we build together through participation, leadership, and collective action.

Whether you're a longtime resident leader or joining us for the first time, come celebrate with us, connect with neighbors from across the city, and continue building the Bigger WE.

Brunch begins at 10:30 AM
Program: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
