ONE DC knows our base of long-time DC residents, primarily low-income and working class, Black people, people of color, and immigrant communities are being hit hard by the current pandemic. Not only are people falling sick, but we are losing work, access to childcare, and may not be able to pay rent come April or May 1.
We know we cannot fight alone and are organizing around demands for our human rights to housing, income, and wellness. The city has the resources to not just meet our needs during this crisis, but to ensure a more equitable city in the long-term.
We need more information about how ONE DC members and D.C. residents have been affected.
We will also be doing survey outreach via phone calls. We will follow up with more information about how to join our organizing efforts, so we encourage you to provide contact info below.
