The ONE DC Black Workers & Wellness Center is a member-led community & wellness space in Anacostia that builds racial & economic justice through popular education, promotion of sustainable employment, & the incubation of economic alternatives. In 2017, after over a year and a half of grassroots fundraising, ONE DC successfully purchased the former United Black Fund, Inc. building at 2500 MLK Jr Ave SE for $1.2 million. With the building purchased, we have entered a new phase of capital campaign fundraising for building renovations.

Resource Generation DC is committed to supporting ONE DC's Black Workers and Wellness Center Project. The BWWC, which strives to transform and subvert the capitalist system which exploits and under-employs, actualizes the vision that Resource Generation hopes to achieve: a world of economic and racial justice with shared wealth, land, and power. On October 20, RG-DC will be hosting a fundraiser to raise $300,00 for renovations to the BWWC. Bring your family and friends for a night of music, dancing, and community building to support the renovations to this new community organizing space!
