The
Kressley Organizing Institute is a multi-year program to provide
support for emerging community organizers in the DC Metro area. Named
in honor of stalwart community organizing proponent Larry Kressley, the
institute is now accepting applications for the Class of 2009. The
week-long skills intensive is designed for community activists seeking
to enhance their skills related to developing a constituency and
running effective campaigns. The institute also includes monthly
