Progressive hip hop artist and ONE DC member Christylez Bacon calls on you to help him raise $1,490 to take his native Washingtonian act to the APAP (Association of Performance Arts Presenter) Conference in New York, January 2009. Check him out at Mocha Hut at 1301 U Street NW on December 21st from 7pm-9pm. He will be collaborating with a vocalist, tuba player, and human beatbox. Christylez's goal is to deliver a message of cultural acceptance and unification through music with diverse instrumentation ranging from tuba to didgeridoo, ukulele to berimbeau, human beatbox to djembe. The APAP Conference is the booking conference for arts education and music centers around the country.
